The Muslim Coalition of ISAIAH played a role in advocating for equitable family leave, providing up to 20 weeks combined leave with progressive wage replacement and job protections. This benefits East African and Muslim communities, allowing low-income families, especially large ones, to care for loved ones without risking their jobs.

Muslim coalition fought with KCOU to secure Funding and increase the CCAP for childcare providers and small minority businesses, helping Muslim-owned childcare services by raising reimbursement rates and increasing support for minority entrepreneurs.
